Trade Mastery
Industry-recognised qualifications on a regulated apprenticeship pathway. The first track is electrical engineering — a Level 3 route toward AM2S, BS 7671 18th Edition, and the JIB Gold Card. Real qualifications. Real careers.
A new kind of academy for sixteen-to-nineteen-year-olds in Gloucestershire — where industry-recognised trade qualifications, real commercial skills, and the financial education the system never taught us are built into one curriculum.
The Legacy Academy is a sixteen-to-nineteen alternative education provider built for young people who didn't fit the mainstream — and shouldn't have had to.
We believe the country's broken pipeline of skilled tradespeople, founders, and asset-builders begins where school stops working. So we built a curriculum around three pillars: industry-recognised trade qualifications, the commercial skills to run a business, and the financial education that turns earnings into legacy.
Our learners leave with a Gold-Card-track qualification, the literacy to quote, price and tender real work, and the discipline to build wealth that lasts beyond a single generation.

The skills nobody teaches the trades. Quoting and pricing jobs, reading a contract, managing cash flow, tendering for commercial work, hiring a first apprentice. We train tradespeople to become firm-builders from day one.
The financial literacy the curriculum forgot. Property, investment vehicles, ownership structures, tax efficiency — taught honestly and early. Our learners don't just earn well, they build assets that outlive them.
A regulated Level 3 trade qualification built on three pillars: industry-recognised skills, commercial fluency, and generational wealth education.
Direct entry into trade with our employer partners — or progression into MDSS (Matalegion Defence & Support Services), our sister organisation's adult workforce and defence-adjacent training arm.
A skilled tradesperson with the commercial literacy of a founder and the financial discipline to build assets that outlive a single generation.
A note on the pipeline The Legacy Academy and MDSS together form an integrated route under Matalegion UK Ltd — designed to compress the path from school to skilled, employed, asset-building adulthood. A dedicated MDSS site is forthcoming.
Britain has a record number of young people who are not in education, employment, or training — and a record shortage of skilled trades. The two facts are the same fact.

We chose Brockworth because the employer base lives next door. Gloucester Business Park sits within minutes of our site, and its tenant list reads like a curriculum partner roster — defence primes, civil engineering firms, energy infrastructure, logistics, and aerospace.
For a learner training in a regulated trade, that proximity is the difference between a classroom qualification and a working career. We are not building near our employer base. We are building inside it.
